Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a skilled field specialist to rig up and down service line equipment at onshore and offshore sites. You will plan jobs, set up equipment, and provide customer support while maintaining safety and data integrity.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in oilfield drilling, including underbalanced or managed pressure drilling, and can mentor junior staff. Strong math, reading, and writing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Dynamic Pressure Management (MPD/UBD) experience is required.
• Rigging up and down service line equipment.
• Ability to mentor and train junior operators.
• Monitoring instruments and ensuring data quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Rig up/down service line equipment on both onshore and offshore locations.
• Plan the job including equipment setup, well site direction, and customer support activities.
• Maintain, set up, test and operate equipment at customer sites and field camps.
• Mentor and train lower level operators and assistants.
• Monitor instruments and perform calculations to ensure data quality at the well.
• Consult with customers on services and products and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Check and verify equipment per job plan and complete all documentation.
• Lead pre-job toolbox safety meetings and review job plan with customer representatives.

Job Duties

• Under general supervision performs all phases of the rigging up and down of service line equipment on work locations both on and offshore


• Provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set up well site direction and customer related support activities


• Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining setting up testing and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp


• Mentors and trains lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise


• Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of the data at the well


• Consults with customers concerning services and products promotes good customer relations at the well site and ensures customer satisfaction with results


• Checks and verifies equipment as per job plan properly maintains equipment and completes all job documentation


• Conducts pre- job toolbox safety meetings reviews and verifies job plan with customer representative and manages any changes required

The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required

Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required

Skills are acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and 4 years of experience in oil field drilling activities

including 3 years of underbalanced drilling and or managed pressure drilling

Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Specialist I-GBA
