Responsibilities

• Set up and operate ultrasound equipment to perform procedures.
• Assist and perform ultrasound procedures; ensure image capture with details in RIS/PACS.
• Record initial notes and organ measurements for radiologists.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and maintain professional communication.
• Educate patients and relatives about the ultrasound procedure.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Verify patient identity and site for each exam.
• Select equipment and accessories to obtain best image quality; report faults.
• Contribute to department policies and procedures.
