Job summary

SAMI Airbus in Saudi Arabia seeks a qualified Training Coordinator for MRO training in the C295 area. You will coordinate instructor schedules, monitor qualifications, and develop on‑the‑job training programs in alignment with Sami-Airbus standards and OEM manuals.

You will liaise with customers and external training suppliers, ensuring smooth delivery and accurate reporting. A proactive team leader with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on the C-295 aircraft in MRO or training.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and define C295 instructors' schedules and workload.
• Ensure instructor qualifications and authorizations with Quality.
• Develop on-the-job training programs and Sami-Airbus training plan.
• Interface between the training team and Training Manager.
• Monitor internal mandatory training status for SAAMS staff.
• Update training material to match OEM manuals as needed.
• Prepare customer reports and liaison with external stakeholders.

Job description

Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of MRO Training in the C295 area, internal and customer.

Core Responsibility Areas

• Act as interface between the training team on PSAB and the Training Manager
• Coordinate and define C295 instructors schedule, workload and ensure status of their qualifications/authorization with Quality department
• Develop on the Job Training programs and participate in developing Sami-Airbus Training Plan
• Engage with the team of instructors for day-to-day needs and support in the training delivery
• Monitor and follow-up the internal mandatory training status for SAAMS employees
• Ensure the Technical Training delivered is as per SAMI-Airbus standard, regulation and procedures, updating the training material with OEM last manuals accordingly if needed
• Follow-up the student progress according to the OJT program and customer plan and notify and escalated any deviations for proper action
• Prepare and provide customer reports as per standardized Way of Working
• Act as liaison and Point of Contact between Sami Airbus and all external stakeholders (Customer, Training Suppliers, Airbus Training Center, etc.)

Key Technical/Functional Competencies, Skills & Knowledge Areas

1. A proactive approach to work is necessary for this role
2. Ability to use proficiently Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other simple follow-up software such as JotForm
3. Previous experience in training of aircraft systems is very valuable
4. Ability to deal with the customer in challenging and demanding environments
5. Ability to coordinate a team

Key Performance Indicators

• Educated in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or any other technical discipline)
• At least 5 years of experience working on C-295 aircraft in MRO or Training environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
