Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline; eligible for a COOP placement.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, CNC cutting tools, tools and fixtures, inventory control and Lean principles.
• Strong communication, teamwork and willingness to learn; ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of a management system for CNC cutting tools, tools and fixtures; analyze consumption and inventory; assist replenishment controls.
• Coordinate 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities; support pull systems, standard work and A3 problem solving under supervision.
