Job summary

Ajdan seeks a Tax Specialist to support VAT and Zakat compliance in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. You will prepare VAT/Zakat filings, maintain records, and assist with tax reporting across the business.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in taxation, strong Saudi VAT knowledge, and ERP system experience, with good English communication and analytical skills. Work is on site in Dammam.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of taxation experience, preferably VAT compliance.
• Experience with Saudi tax regulations and ZATCA requirements preferred.
• ERP experience with financial systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review VAT and Zakat returns and other tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations and tax requirements.
• Review invoices and transactions for correct tax treatment.
• Assist in tax reconciliations and tax reporting.
• Support tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence with authorities.
• Maintain tax documentation and supporting records.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess impact on business.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve tax issues.
• Assist in VAT refunds and tax compliance projects.
• Support month-end and year-end tax reporting activities.

Summary / Job Purpose:

Support the Tax Department in ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations by preparing tax filings, maintaining tax records, assisting with tax reporting, and providing tax support to business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review VAT and Zakat returns and other applicable tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations and tax requirements.
• Review invoices and transactions to ensure correct tax treatment.
• Assist in preparing tax reconciliations and tax reports.
• Support tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Maintain proper tax documentation and supporting records.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business.

Qualifications & Experience:
