Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–7 years in Temenos T24 technical environments including COB support.
• Strong knowledge of T24 architecture, jBase/TAFJ, routines and OFS processing.
• Hands‑on COB tasks and batch job configuration experience.
• Familiarity with T24 modules (AA, FT, ST, MM, LC).
• Shell scripting on Unix/Linux and knowledge of Oracle or MSSQL.
• Experience with monitoring tools and job schedulers like Control‑M or Cron.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled T24 Technical Support Specialist with a strong focus on Close of Business (COB) support to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation of core banking activities. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting T24 technical environments, especially during COB execution cycles. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in T24 architecture, COB performance tuning, issue resolution, and batch job control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the daily Close of Business processing, ensuring completion within the agreed SLA.
• Investigate and resolve COB failures, errors, or delays and provide immediate support to ensure continuity of operations.
• Coordinate with functional users and infrastructure teams to resolve issues affecting COB.
• Provide technical support for T24 modules, interfaces, and environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot batch jobs, scripts, and environment parameters.
• Perform T24 system health checks, log analysis, and application‑level monitoring to ensure uptime and performance of all T24 environments.
• Log, track, and resolve incidents related to COB and T24 system operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis of recurring COB‑related issues and suggest permanent fixes.
• Document issue resolutions and create knowledge base materials for common incidents.
• Liaise with Temenos or vendors for issue escalation and patch application.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams during critical support windows.
• Work closely with business users and core banking functional consultants to align support priorities.
• Identify areas for COB process optimization and automation.
• Contribute to performance tuning of COB cycles and batch jobs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience working in Temenos T24 technical environments, including COB support.
• Strong understanding of T24 architecture, including jBase/TAFJ, routines, and OFS processing.
• Hands‑on experience in managing COB tasks and batch job configuration.
• Familiarity with key T24 modules such as AA, FT, ST, MM, and LC.
• Scripting experience (Unix/Linux shell scripts, jBase routines).
• Knowledge of database systems (Oracle or MSSQL preferred).
• Experience with monitoring tools and job schedulers (e.g., Control‑M, Cron).
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in shifts (COB is typically handled after working hours or overnight).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Temenos T24 (TAFJ/COB/Technical streams).
• Experience with T24 upgrades or core banking transformation projects.
• Previous experience in banking IT support environments or managed services providers.
