Zusammenfassung

Electrical Industries Company seeks an experienced Substation Automation Engineer to lead engineering work for MV/LV switchgear, MCC, and HV relay panels. You will develop logic diagrams, signal lists, and offline relay configurations while aligning SAS requirements with clients and PSA vendors.

You will configure protection and control relays using vendor tools, create SCL/ICD/CID/SCD files, and coordinate across PSA, production, and QA teams to ensure quality and timely FAT/completion.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Substation Automation System engineering, testing and commissioning.

• Plan and oversee FAT/iFAT testing to meet project schedule.
• Involve in design optimization, standardization, and lead a team of design engineers.

Role & responsibilities

• Engineering work of Substation Automation System related to MV & LV Switchgear, MCC, HV Relay & Control Panels.
• Engineering related to Substation Automation System for LV/MV Switchgear and Relay & Control Panels for HV/EHV application.
• Developing of logic diagram for customer review and approval. Preparing Signal List, Mapping List, Internal Variable list and configuration of relays (offline) related to PSA documentation.
• Interface with client/end user and PSA vendor on finalizing the SAS requirements in line with project requirements.
• Configuration of Relays (IEDs) for Protection, Control. Monitoring using relay manufacturers software tools for all protection functions.
• Preparing SCL files like ICD/CID/SCD files etc. to meet customer requirements.
• Cooperation and coordinate with PSA vendor, production and quality team to resolve issues and improve design quality.
• Schedule jobs and ensure timely completion of integrated FAT (iFAT) testing to meet the project schedule.
• Must involve in Design optimization, standardization, and leading a group of Design Engineers in Mega Projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 5 years hands on experience in Engineering, Testing during factory and site acceptance tests and commissioning activities related to Substation Automation System.
• Good experience in CAD software like AutoCad, vision for presenting achitecture and logic diagrams.
• Experience in using Relays Software of ABB, Siemens, Alstom, GE, SEL, etc. for protection, control, monitoring & communication and configuration of the HMI for relay and meter.
• Has a reasonable knowledge in Substation Automation Systems and similar engineering work of our equipment.
• Familiar with international technical standards (ANSI, IEC, UL) related to the job category.
• Relay Configuration and industrial communication protocols.
• Good command in English and Communication skills
