Job summary

JASARA PMC seeks a dedicated Sustainability & Environmental Engineer to promote eco-friendly practices across our construction projects and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

You will develop strategies to drive sustainability, improve resource efficiency, and minimize environmental impact throughout our programs, collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental sustainability within construction.
• Certifications in sustainability fields (e.g., LEED, ENVISI) are advantageous.

JASARA PMC is looking for a dedicated Sustainability & Environmental Engineer to join our innovative team. This role will focus on promoting eco-friendly practices in our construction projects and ensuring that we adhere to environmental regulations. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that drive sustainability efforts, enhance resource efficiency, and minimize environmental impact throughout our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate projects for environmental impact and sustainability opportunities.
• Design and implement environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis related to environmental regulations and best practices.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for compliance with sustainability standards.
• Engage with project teams to integrate sustainability into project planning and execution.
• Communicate sustainability progress and initiatives to stakeholders and clients.
• Lead training sessions to educate staff on sustainability practices and environmental compliance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Development, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in environmental sustainability or engineering within the construction industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of environmental policies, sustainability standards, and assessment methodologies.
• Experience in performing environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and drafting sustainability reports.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis related to sustainability metrics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Certifications in sustainability-related fields (e.g., LEED, ENVISI) are highly advantageous.
