Job summary

BAE Systems in Riyadh seeks a Supply Database Programmer to collect and analyse data to improve supply operations, and to develop and optimize SQL-based queries and reports.

The role requires a CS/Technology degree with programming training and experience with relational databases; military logistics background is preferred. The team collaborates closely with the Directorate of communications and Computing to deliver robust data solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science/Technology and preferably at least 2 years post graduate experience with PC based applications/relational databases and MIS.
• Must have completed a recognised programming course and have a good knowledge of programming.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse data to improve supply operations.
• Write queries, joins, and aggregations and optimize them for performance.
• Carry out data analysis reporting.
• Prepare reports, dashboards or visualizations to support decision making.
• Troubleshoot data and process related problems.
• Develop GOLDesp and Oracle BL reports.
• Provide custom SQL queries for RSAF analysis.
• Liaise with analytical team providing data for KPIs and GOLDesp.

Job Description - Supply Database Programmer (00139125)

• Collect and analyses data that will improve supply operations
• Utilise Oracle/MySQL and SQL server
• Write queries, joins, aggregations and optimize them for performance
• Carry out Data analysis reporting
• Analyse large datasets such as Excell and Python
• Prepare reports, dashboards or visualization to support decision making
• Trouble shoot Data and Process related problems
• Maintain close liaison with the Directorate of communications and Computing to ensure awareness of all applications Develop GOLDesp and Oracle Bl reports
• Provide custom SQL queries for RSAF analysis
• Utilise RSAF publications to identify processes and procedures
• Liaise with analytical team providing data for KPls and GOLDesp

Job Requirements:

• The Supply Database Programmer must have a university degree in Computer Science/ Technology and preferably a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience of PC based applications/Programmes, relational databases and management information systems. The Supply Database Programmer must also have completed a recognised programming course and have a good knowledge of programming.
• The Supply Database Programmer would ideally have a background in logistics within a military supply organisation as this will be the area of operation the employee Wilf be supporting.
