A leading executive search firm is supporting a confidential search for a Senior Supply Chain Director in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This senior role entails ownership across planning, logistics, and procurement within a highly regulated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceuticals with strong capabilities in data-driven performance management and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance, managing multi-channel distribution strategies, and leading procurement initiatives for operational excellence.
We are NTS Group.
The leading Executive Search, Outplacement and Career Transition firm across the Middle East and Asia Pacific, with over 25 years of regional expertise and a strong track record supporting both clients and candidates. From our offices in Dubai, London and Singapore, we deliver specialist talent solutions across multiple sectors, including contingency and executive search, outplacement and redundancy support, RPO projects, talent mapping, Women in Leadership, leadership development, and our award winning executive career transition programs.
We are currently supporting a fast growing, highly regulated healthcare business in Saudi Arabia on a confidential search for a Supply Chain Director, based in Riyadh and reporting directly to the CEO. This is a senior, high impact role with end to end ownership across planning, logistics and procurement, ensuring uninterrupted supply across public tenders and private channels, while strengthening governance, performance transparency and compliance standards across the supply chain ecosystem.
The Supply Chain Director will lead S&OP and scenario based planning, drive inventory health and FEFO discipline to minimise expiry risk, and manage distributors, 3PLs and freight partners to deliver strong OTIF performance and resilience. The role will also lead strategic sourcing and procurement across materials, services and CAPEX, while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory to ensure audit readiness and support future localisation and scale up initiatives. Success will be measured through availability, service levels, cost to serve, working capital improvement, compliance outcomes and measurable value delivery.
We are looking for a senior supply chain leader with extensive experience in pharmaceuticals, vaccines or regulated healthcare, ideally with strong Saudi market exposure. You will bring deep expertise across planning, logistics and procurement, a highly data driven approach to performance management, and a proven ability to lead through influence across complex stakeholder groups and external partners.
You are a commercially minded, highly structured supply chain leader who thrives in regulated environments where continuity, compliance, and service levels are non negotiable. You bring senior level ownership across planning, logistics, and procurement, and you know how to drive outcomes through governance, transparency, and strong partner management rather than relying on direct operational control.
You are confident leading S&OP and scenario planning, managing inventory health with strict FEFO discipline, and protecting availability across complex multi channel demand, including public tenders and private markets. You have strong experience managing distributors, 3PLs, freight and warehousing partners, holding them accountable through clear SLAs, KPI scorecards, audits, and corrective action frameworks. You are comfortable working at pace with senior stakeholders, able to challenge constructively, make trade offs decisively, and convert operational improvements into measurable business value including cost to serve reduction, working capital release, and resilience uplift.
You are detail oriented and audit ready by default, with a strong grasp of GDP and regulatory expectations, and you bring the leadership presence to build high performing teams and embed disciplined execution across the organisation.
