Job summary

Talents First - Executive Search & Selection is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Quality Engineer for a leading Saudi Arabian industrial company, based in Riyadh or Dammam. The role focuses on working with suppliers to improve quality, manufacturing efficiency, capacity and cost performance.

You will audit and assess supplier processes, drive corrective actions, support APQP/PPAP and NPI, and travel up to 15 days per month to supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Production, Automotive or Electrical fields.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or supplier engineering.
• Strong experience with quality improvement and industrialization with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier quality, manufacturing process and VDA 6.3 audits.
• Assess supplier capacity, processes, equipment and production readiness.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Support suppliers in improving CP/CPK, cycle time, yield and quality performance.
• Lead supplier quality problem-solving and improvement initiatives.
• Review PFMEA, control plans, process flows and work instructions.
• Support APQP, PPAP and First Article Inspection activities.
• Support new product introduction, ramp-up, volume increases and localization projects.
• Work closely with Quality, Purchasing, R&D, Manufacturing and Logistics teams.
• Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers on Lean, Six Sigma, process control and mistake-proofing.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Supplier Industrialization Quality Engineer to join a leading industrial company in Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh or Dammam.

The role focuses on working directly with suppliers to improve quality, manufacturing efficiency, capacity and cost performance, while ensuring suppliers are ready for new products and increased production volumes.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct supplier quality, manufacturing process and VDA 6.3 audits
• Assess supplier capacity, processes, equipment and production readiness
• Identify bottlenecks and drive corrective and continuous improvement actions
• Support suppliers in improving CP/CPK, cycle time, yield and quality performance
• Lead supplier quality problem-solving and improvement initiatives
• Review PFMEA, control plans, process flows and work instructions
• Support APQP, PPAP and First Article Inspection activities

What we are looking for:

• Engineering degree, ideally Mechanical, Production, Automotive or Electrical
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or supplier engineering
• Strong experience working directly with suppliers on quality improvement and industrialization
• Experience in automotive, industrial, consumer or electronics manufacturing. Elevator experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans and 8D
• Experience with VDA 6.3, Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma
• Knowledge of capacity analysis, time studies and line balancing
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel extensively to supplier sites, approximately 15 days per month

This is a hands-on, supplier-facing position for someone who enjoys working directly with manufacturing teams and driving measurable improvements on the factory floor.
