Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the finance function. You will own budgeting cycles, build robust financial models, and provide decision-support insights to senior leadership.

This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional partnership, and expert use of Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems to drive accuracy, efficiency, and data-driven decision making in a fast-paced retail/commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• CMA, FMVA certification is an advantage.
• 12–15 years of progressive FP&A/financial planning/analysis experience, with 5–7 years in a managerial role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis skills.
• Strong understanding of retail financial performance, sales, margins, costs, and KPIs.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading or developing FP&A teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting with business units.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports and analyze variances.
• Analyze sales, margins, costs, and KPIs for opportunities in efficiency.
• Conduct profitability analyses across stores, products, and units.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, store openings/closures, and expansion plans.
• Partner with Operations, Merchandising, HR to optimize costs and resources.
• Develop and maintain financial models for planning and investment decisions.
• Improve FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting with ERP/BI systems.
• Lead, coach, and develop FP&A analysts.
