Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Financial Planning and Reporting Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the group. You will develop dynamic financial models, oversee monthly/ quarterly reporting, and present insights to senior management.

The ideal candidate holds a Finance/Accounting degree, 8+ years in corporate finance with at least 3 years in leadership, strong Excel, SAP/Oracle experience, and professional certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, planning, analysis and reporting.
• 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; ERP familiarity.
• Professional certification (CPA/SOCPA/CMA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across all departments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports with P&L and cash flow analyses.
• Monitor budget variances and ensure alignment with approved allocations.
• Develop dynamic financial models for scenario planning and risk assessment.
• Coach and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure reporting aligns with SOCPA/IFRS standards and ERP data integrity.
• Provide senior management with insightful dashboards and strategic recommendations.

Job description

The Financial Planning and Reporting Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions. The role ensures accurate and timely financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, drives the development of strategic financial plans, directs financial analysis and forecasting, and provides senior management with insightful reporting.

Role Accountabilities

• Manage and lead the end-to-end financial planning and Reporting operations and process across all departments.
• Manage and lead the annual budgeting cycle and rolling periodic forecasting processes.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, including P&L analysis, cash flow statements, and executive dashboards.
• Monitor and analyse budget variances and deviations from approved allocations.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop dynamic financial models for scenario planning and business risks.
• Ensure financial reporting aligns with accounting standards (e.g., SOCPA, IFRS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• High proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Professional certification is preferred (e.g. CPA, SOCPA, CMA).
