Job summary

NHS Scotland East Brig is seeking a Registered Nurse (Band 5) to join the MDT in a 10-bed rehabilitation unit for people with severe and enduring mental illness. You will deliver comprehensive, individualised treatment and recovery plans to support patients to return home.

You will work closely with the MDT and third sector agencies, advocating on behalf of patients and promoting a collaborative, recovery‑orientated approach. This post suits both experienced and newly qualified staff.

Qualifications

East Brig is a 10 bedded rehabilitation unit for people with severe and enduring mental illness. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse (band 5) to join our established multi-disciplinary team. You would be responsible for delivering comprehensive, individualised treatment and recovery plans which support patients to return home. The successful candidate will work closely with the MDT and 3rd sector agencies, advocating on behalf of patients, promoting a collaborative and recovery orientated focus throughout. If you are flexible , resourceful, have excellent verbal/ written communication skills and aspire to deliver exceptional standards of care we would be very interested in hearing from you. This post would suitable for both experienced and newly qualified staff

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (36 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
