Job summary

Mollkom is seeking a backend engineer to design services, APIs, and events for orders, inventory and fulfillment. You will ensure consistency, concurrency, transactions and webhooks while driving design reviews and high-quality delivery.

The role requires deep experience with PostgreSQL and modern languages (TypeScript, Go or Python). Hybrid work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is available, with ownership of service boundaries and observability improvements.

Qualifications

• Deep backend engineering experience with distributed systems in use.
• Understanding of concurrency, idempotency and event-driven architecture.
• Ability to lead technical work, simplify systems and document trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design services, API contracts and events for orders, inventory and fulfillment.
• Handle consistency, concurrency, transactions, webhooks and compensating actions.
• Develop tenant isolation, permissions, auditability and service ownership boundaries.
• Improve observability, performance and testing while leading design and incident reviews.
