Job summary

Alfanar Precast seeks an experienced Middleware Engineer to install, configure, and maintain middleware solutions ensuring reliable communication across enterprise applications. You will upgrade components, design integrations, and monitor performance across Microsoft platforms and .NET applications.

The role requires 4 to 6 years of experience with middleware, strong knowledge of security/compliance, and collaboration with IT and business teams to deliver robust integration solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or higher in a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of work experience in integration/middleware environments.
• Strong knowledge of middleware concepts, integration patterns, and security/compliance considerations.
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms (Microsoft stack) and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain middleware software solutions.
• Upgrade and patch middleware components to ensure performance and reliability.
• Design, build, and configure middleware integrations across platforms and environments.
• Monitor performance, logs, and metrics; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and topology diagrams.

To support, configure, and maintain middleware platforms and integration services that enable reliable communication between enterprise applications. Ensuring stable middleware operations through installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, security compliance, and documentation, while delivering effective integration solutions across IT environments.

Key Accountability Areas

• Install, configure, and maintain middleware software solutions.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft integration platforms (e.g., BizTalk Server, Azure Integration Services, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid) and .NET applications to ensure high performance, reliability, and availability.
• Perform regular updates and patches to middleware software.

Integration Design & Implementation:

• Design, build, and configure middleware integration solutions across multiple platforms and environments.
• Ensure seamless integration and communication between different applications.
• Support integration with enterprise systems such as Microsoft Integration platforms, SharePoint, Azure API Management and .NET applications.
• Monitor system performance, logs, and metrics to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

Security, Compliance & Resiliency:

• Implement security measures to protect middleware environments.
• Ensure middleware services meet enterprise standards for security, resiliency, and compliance.
• Implement and manage automated deployment, failover, and backup strategies for middleware services.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot integration issues and implement solutions.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including topology diagrams, configuration settings, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
