Job summary

alfanar is seeking an electrical engineering professional to design and implement integrated power systems for containerized data center modules in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on MV/LV switchgear, transformer and UPS integration, with development of system architecture and detailed specifications.

The candidate should have 4–6 years of experience in power systems, data centers, and related engineering disciplines, with strong emphasis on reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of work experience in power systems or data centers.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, transformers and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer integrated power solutions for containerized data centers, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers and UPS.
• Develop detailed system architectures and single-line diagrams for manufacturing.
• Implement system integration plans ensuring compatibility of electrical components.

Job Purpose

To design, engineer, and implement integrated electrical power systems for containerized data center power modules, ensuring seamless integration of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and STS systems in alignment with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Accountability Areas

System Design & Engineering

• Design and engineer integrated power solutions for containerized data centers, incorporating MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
• Develop detailed system architectures, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications for ETO manufacturing.

Technical Implementation & Integration

• Implement system integration plans to ensure compatibility and optimal performance of all electrical components within the power module.
• Solve complex technical issues during the assembly and integration phases of data center power solutions.

Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze system performance requirements and recommend design modifications to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Develop testing protocols and analyze results to validate system functionality against client requirements.
