Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks a Sr. Civil / Structural Designer in Jubail, Saudi Arabia for contract work on oil & gas, petrochemical and chemicals projects. The role focuses on 3D modelling for foundations, racks and process modules, plus 2D drawings derived from 3D models.

You will help develop charts, layouts and reinforcement details while ensuring standards compliance. Requirements include 10–15 years in civil/structural design, FEED and detailed design exposure, plus proficiency in 3D and 2D

Qualifications

• KSA-based candidates highly considered.
• 10-15 years of Civil Structural Designing / drafting experience in petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil or gas industries.
• Experience in FEED and Detailed Design projects for green field and brown field.
• Experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting including layouts and detail drawings.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in 3D modelling for foundations, piles, underground services, roads, paving, drainage works, ponds.
• Expertise in 3D modelling for Piperacks, process structures and modules, process and electrical equipment foundations, buildings.
• Extract or develop 2D foundation layouts, structural layouts, building drawings from 3D models.
• Develop 2D drawings for reinforcement details, structural steel details, ladders, grating, floor plate details.
• Develop 2D drawings for site development, site grading, finish grading, fencing and gate layouts.
• MTO extraction from 3D model and 2D drawings as directed by Lead Engineer and Lead CAD Designer.
• Checking 3D model for consistency, accuracy, clashes and compliance with company standards.
• Review of civil and structural drawings.
• Some knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit will be asset.
• Training and development of young designers.
