Job summary

Skatch inc. is seeking a Senior 3D Designer to lead the development of 3D concepts and visuals for events, brand activations, exhibitions, and immersive experiences.

You will transform client briefs into compelling 3D environments, coordinating with directors and production teams to ensure feasibility, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in 3D Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in 3D design within events, exhibitions, or brand activations.
• Strong portfolio showcasing event spaces, stages, exhibitions, activations, and experiential environments.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D design and visualization software (3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, Blender, V-Ray/Corona).
• Strong understanding of space planning, materials, lighting, and production requirements.
• Ability to develop concepts from initial idea to detailed 3D visualization.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior 3D Designer to join our creative team and lead the development of 3D concepts and visual designs for events, brand activations, exhibitions, and immersive experiences. The role will be responsible for transforming creative ideas and client requirements into compelling 3D environments and visual presentations, while ensuring the designs are both creative and practical for execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality 3D concepts, designs, and visualizations for events, exhibitions, brand activations, and experiential projects.
• Translate creative concepts, briefs, and client requirements into detailed 3D environments and experiences.
• Design event spaces including stages, booths, pavilions, structures, installations, scenic elements, and visitor experiences.
• Produce detailed 3D models, renders, walkthroughs, and presentation visuals for client presentations and internal reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Event Producers, Project Managers, and other designers to develop and refine concepts.
• Ensure designs align with the project's creative direction, brand guidelines, budget, venue requirements, and technical feasibility.
• Develop multiple design concepts and creative options based on project requirements.
• Prepare accurate design files and visual materials to support the production and execution teams.
• Review designs with production teams and incorporate technical and fabrication requirements.
• Conduct site/venue assessments when required and adapt designs according to the space and site conditions.
• Mentor and provide creative guidance to junior 3D designers.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of design quality.
• Stay updated on event design trends, technologies, materials, and experiential design innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in 3D Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in 3D design, preferably within the events, exhibitions, experiential, or brand activation industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating event spaces, stages, exhibitions, activations, installations, and experiential environments.
• Advanced proficiency in relevant 3D design and visualization software such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, Blender, V-Ray, Corona, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of space planning, materials, lighting, scale, proportions, and event production requirements.
• Ability to develop a concept from initial idea through to detailed 3D visualization.
• Strong creative, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and creative/project teams is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience working on large-scale events, government events, festivals, exhibitions, corporate events, brand activations, live experiences, or major entertainment projects is highly desirable.
