Job Description

SiFi is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team. This is a hands-on junior role for someone at the beginning of their career who is passionate about social media, content, and building engaging digital communities.

You will support the full social media cycle, from planning and coordinating content calendars to activating campaigns, monitoring performance, tracking results, and preparing reports. You will also support with PR and communications activities, working closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure SiFi is active, relevant, and consistent across every channel.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Planning & Coordination

• Support the development and management of monthly and campaign-based social media content plans across SiFi's active channels.
• Maintain and coordinate content calendars, ensuring all posts, campaigns, and key moments are planned, approved, and delivered on time.
• Coordinate with designers, copywriters, agencies, and internal stakeholders to brief, collect, review, and schedule social media content.
• Stay on top of relevant trends, cultural moments, and platform updates, identifying opportunities for SiFi to participate where relevant.

Social Media Activation & Community Management

• Publish and schedule approved content across relevant social media platforms, ensuring accuracy, timing, and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Monitor comments and mentions, escalating customer, reputational, or sensitive issues to the appropriate teams when needed.
• Support the activation of campaigns, partnerships, events, and other marketing initiatives across social media.
• Track content delivery and follow up proactively with stakeholders to ensure planned activities go live as scheduled.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor social media performance using platform analytics and relevant reporting tools, tracking reach, engagement, audience growth, clicks, and other agreed KPIs.
• Prepare regular weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting key results, trends, wins, and areas for improvement.
• Translate performance data into clear insights and recommendations to improve future content and social media activity.

PR & Communications Support

• Support selected PR and communications activities, including coordinating announcements, media materials, press coverage tracking, and communication requests.
• Maintain organized records of media coverage, PR opportunities, key contacts, and communications activity.
• Assist in coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with SiFi's brand and messaging.

AI & Team Collaboration

• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other relevant tools to support research, content planning, reporting, and day-to-day marketing tasks.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to support campaigns, events, partnerships, and broader brand initiatives.
• Bring a proactive, curious mindset to the role, continuously learning about social media, digital culture, content trends, and new tools.

Requirements

Experience

• 0-2 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or a related field. Fresh graduates with strong interest, internships, university projects, or personal experience in social media are encouraged to apply.
• A relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous hands-on experience managing social media accounts, creating content, or supporting campaigns is a plus, but not required.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of major social media platforms and their core formats, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
• Social media scheduling, analytics, and reporting tools, with a willingness to learn new platforms and technologies.
• Experience using AI tools to support research, content planning, reporting, day-to-day marketing, and related tasks.
• Strong organization skills and basic proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools for tracking and reporting.

Soft Skills

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and adapt tone across different channels.
