Job summary

SOUM is seeking a Finance professional in Riyadh to manage cash and bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, supplier ledgers, VAT, and month-end closing for its cars division.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience, be ACCA Part-qualified CA or equivalent, and fluently bilingual in Arabic and English. Experience in process improvement and automation is a plus as SOUM continues to modernize its finance processes.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• ACCA Part-qualified CA or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with cash and bank reconciliations, inventory accounting, supplier reconciliations and month-end closing.
• Strong understanding of VAT and financial record management.
• Experience improving finance processes through automation or system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Cash, bank, and receipts handling and reconciliation; report daily incomes and expenses.
• Maintain inventory ledgers, perform stock counts, and flag variances.
• Record cost centres, manage VAT, and ensure compliant filings.
• Reconcile supplier ledgers and verify pricing, P&L impacts.
• Support month-end closing and ad hoc finance requests.
• Coordinate between Cars and Finance teams with clear documentation.
• Identify manual steps and drive automation and process improvements.
