Shift Leader II (Operational/Supervisory profile)

The Shift Leader will supervise daily baggage handling operations at Dammam Airport to ensure team productivity, safety, quality, and client satisfaction. The role emphasizes collaboration, operational excellence, and effective coordination with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational shifts efficiently.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other shifts and management for seamless operations.
• Ensure adherence to site internal policies and procedures including SOPs, SMPs, and contingency planning.
• Prepare incident reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Oversee maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance, task distribution, and team coordination.
• Supervise troubleshooting activities and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively in English with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain strong collaboration with all stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma minimum, bachelor is preferred.
• 3 years minimum of supervisory experience in O&M activities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Spoken, written, and reading English.
• Knowledge of SCADA, BPI, and VIBES systems for operational monitoring and data extraction.
• Experience in preparing operational and incident reports.
• Ability to coordinate teams, manage workflows, supervise maintenance, and oversee operational tasks.
• Strong focus on collaboration, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Aviation or automated sortation systems experience are preferred.
