INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a highly experienced Service Engineer for Saudi Arabia on a contractual basis. The role focuses on design, programming, and maintenance of industrial automation and control systems to ensure reliable plant operations.

• Bachelor's in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.
• 10+ years in Control Systems; minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas.
• Experience with ABB 800xA and Siemens PLCs/S7 and TIA Portal.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and RSLogix 5000.
• Strong knowledge of Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP; ladder logic, FBD, STL.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
• MS Office (Excel, Word) and MS 365.
• Strong communication and teamwork under pressure.

## Service EngineerSaudi Arabia · Contractual#### About The PositionINTECH Process Automation is seeking a skilled **Service Engineer** to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The Service Engineer is responsible for the design, development, programming, and maintenance of industrial automation and control systems. The role involves ensuring reliable plant operations by monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting commissioning and startup activities while adhering to safety and client standards.**Key Responsibilities:****System Design & Development*** ****Design, develop, and program control systems (PLC, SCADA).* Prepare functional specifications, control philosophies, and system architecture.* Select appropriate hardware and software components based on project requirements.**Programming & Configuration*** ****Develop, test, and implement PLC and SCADA programs.* Configure HMI/SCADA interfaces for effective process visualization and control.* Modify and optimize existing programs to improve system performance.**Troubleshooting & Maintenance*** ****Monitor and maintain existing control systems to ensure continuous and efficient operations.* Diagnose and resolve control-related issues within plant processes.* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation systems.**Testing & Commissioning*** ****Conduct system testing, including FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).* Lead or support commissioning and startup activities for new and upgraded systems.* Ensure systems meet operational and performance requirements.******Process Support*** ****Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to support plant activities.* Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.******Compliance & Safety*** ****Ensure all control systems comply with relevant safety standards and company procedures.* Follow and promote best practices in automation safety and cybersecurity.* Maintain proper documentation for all systems and changes.#### Requirements**To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:*** Bachelors in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering.* 10+ Years of experience in the Field of Control Systems with minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry is required.* Working Experience with **ABB 800xA**.* Working Experience on **Siemens PLCs S7-200, 300,400, 1200, 1500, Siemens Step7** and **TIA Portal** Software.
