Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. seeks a Discipline Manager - Water Features to lead water feature design and delivery across hospitality, mixed-use and large-scale developments.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety, environmental compliance and project performance from concept to commissioning. The role requires 10–15 years’ experience in water feature projects, strong hydraulic and control systems knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Water Engineering, Landscape Architecture or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of water feature design and project delivery experience with leadership.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), PMP or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the water features discipline across multiple projects and design stages.
• Oversee design of fountains, interactive features, ponds and lakes.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards and environmental regs.
• Coordinate with landscape, civil, MEP and structural engineers and stakeholders.
• Review design calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.
• Develop innovative, water-efficient and sustainable feature solutions.
• Manage resources, budgets, schedules and project deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to teams.
• Conduct design reviews, value engineering and risk assessments.
• Support procurement through technical evaluations and tender reviews.
• Monitor construction and provide technical support through commissioning.
