Job summary

Rackspace Technology, a leader in hybrid cloud and AI solutions, seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to drive VMware-based modernization and AI platform enablement across the Middle East region. You will collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and Delivery teams to design innovative, scalable platforms with GPUaaS, model serving, and MLOps integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years in technical presales/solution architecture.
• Extensive experience designing enterprise VMware-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of data centre modernization & hybrid cloud adoption.
• Practical knowledge of AI platform architecture above the hypervisor with GPUaaS.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with client executives and technical stakeholders.
• Lead workshops on VMware, private cloud, and AI platform strategy.
• Design and position solutions using VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, NSX, Tanzu.
• Architect AI serving and training stacks with GPU acceleration and MLOps tooling.
• Embed AI guardrails, governance, and regulatory alignment into platform designs.
• Ensure resilience, security, and tenant isolation across virtualised and AI environments.
• Lead presales engagements and produce high-quality proposals and SoWs.
• Provide specialist guidance on VMware platforms and AI infrastructure.
