Job summary

JASARA PMC is seeking a Senior Urban Design Engineer with 15+ years of experience to lead large-scale building, master planning and urban development projects in Saudi Arabia. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and contractors to ensure the highest design quality and alignment with project goals.

You will apply expertise in urban planning, site planning, circulation, and public realm, and mentor junior staff while upholding design standards and regulatory requirements in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably on large-scale building, mixed-use, urban development, or master planning projects.
• Strong experience working with PMC organizations, design consultants, engineering consultancies, or multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proven experience in building projects and large-scale developments, with an understanding of the relationship between building design and the surrounding urban environment.
• Strong knowledge of urban planning, site planning, development planning, circulation, public realm, and spatial design principles.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and reviewing design deliverables.
• Ability to understand and interpret architectural, engineering, planning, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of relevant planning regulations, building codes, design standards, and authority requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in relevant design and technical software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, SketchUp, Revit, or other urban design/planning tools.
• Saudi Nationals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical and design leadership for urban design and master planning projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Urban Design Engineer with approximately 15+ years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building projects, urban design, master planning, and multidisciplinary design coordination, preferably gained within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) or leading Design Consultancy environment.
