You will drive robust techno-economic models, evaluate investment cases, and provide decision-ready insights to guide deployment and licensing strategies.

The role requires advanced quantitative skills, experience with energy/chemicals, and a track record of delivering data-driven financial analyses to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline; advanced degree or financial certification preferred.
• 13+ years professional experience with 5+ years leading energy/chemicals sectors or consultants.
• Strong experience in quantitative economic analysis, modelling tools, and portfolio valuation.
• Knowledge of AI, data analytics and software dev in energy tech and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Support option analysis and inform product development strategies with cost-benefit assessments.
• Create financial models and value techs for potential commercial applications.
• Develop techno-economic analyses for investment appraisal in stage-gate processes.
• Provide insights by analyzing data against KPIs and financial metrics.
• Support deployment plans and evaluate licensing opportunities to optimize terms.
• Maintain quality of economic modelling tools and portfolio repositories.
