Job summary

Wood is seeking a TPE IV/Senior Structural Engineer for its Al-Khobar office in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on oil and gas projects, onshore structural design, foundations, and infrastructure, with extensive interaction with EPC teams and client specifications.

You will lead deliverables, review drawings, supervise junior engineers, and ensure conformance with Aramco, Sabic, RC, SBC and HCIS standards. A degree in Civil/Structural Eng and 10+ years in oil and gas are required; proficiency in

Qualifications

Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry working for an established contractor, operator, or consultancy.
Minimum 5 years' experience in onshore structural engineering and design
Previous experience in SACS and other onshore engineering applications
Previous experience in the execution of FEED and EPC Projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Mathcad, Foundation 3D, STAAD and STADDpro)
Familiar with editing, opening, and reading drawings in AutoCAD / Microstation
Professional level of ability in applying standards, processes, and procedures
Professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards

Responsibilities

Responsible for structural/infrastructure works including building design and foundation design.
Originate new and revise engineering deliverables.
Revise and check deliverables against standards and procedures.
Supervise engineering work being produced by juniors.
Plan and complete work within allocated man-hours and avoid slippage.
Interface, coordinate and communicate with the Project Manager and team.
Coordinate with all disciplines in preparation of deliverables.
Go for site visits and verify site conditions and as-built activities.
Manage deliverables submission with quality checks and records management.
Technical report writing and presentations.
