Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer – Design to join our team for a landmark high-rise project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering structural design solutions, ensuring compliance with international standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams under WSP’s Project Management Consultancy (PMC) scope.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design activities for high-rise building projects, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with applicable codes.
• Perform detailed structural analysis and design using advanced software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, etc.).
• Review and validate design deliverables from consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in structural design, with at least 5 years on high-rise projects.
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD).
• Familiarity with international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocodes) and local regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Previous experience working on projects under PMC scope is an advantage.
