Come join the team as a Security Solutions Architect within Amazon Web Services (AWS) ASEAN team. In this role, you will deliver architecture guidance, lead proof‑of‑concept projects and conduct customer workshops. You will also drive collaboration with customers and partners to address security as well as compliance challenges.

Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, working cross‑organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform, and developing a deep expertise in the AWS security technologies as well as broad know‑how around how applications and services are securely constructed using the AWS platform. The ideal candidate will possess customer‑facing skills that will allow them to represent AWS well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade‑offs, best practices, and risk mitigation. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technology challenges.

You regularly take part in deep‑dive education and design exercises along with technical deep dive drive technical discussions to create world‑class security solutions for AWS.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small‑ and mid‑market accounts to enterprise‑level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world‑class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission‑critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

Candidates should have experience in most of the following areas:

• Security Compliance experience – must have strong experience and understanding of customer security/compliance requirements.
• Speaking and presentation skills – Presentations, white boarding, large and small group speaking.
• Technical – broad and deep knowledge of fundamental security principles and technologies, Security services development/deployment experience, and IT systems and network engineering experience.
• Operational Security – should have experience in operationalizing both infrastructure and application security controls.
• Economic and business – RFP/Acquisition support; market analysis; cost benefit analysis, etc.
• Experience in engaging enterprise class environment and complex architecture designs.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
• Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non‑SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics
