Job summary

This role involves reviewing project documents, providing technical solutions, and identifying new business opportunities within the Saudi market. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and is fluent in both English and Arabic. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to key projects in the construction industry.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the GCC.
  • Proven experience in Firefighting Systems / Electromechanical / Integrated Systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical datasheets and drawings.
  • Knowledge of the KSA market and consultant/client landscape is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and study project documents including drawings and tender requirements.

  • Attend and lead technical meetings with the sales team.

Senior Sales & Business Development Engineer - KSA

Deutschland Technology is a leading solutions provider seeking a qualified and motivated>|Senior Sales & Business Development Engineer to join our team in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and study project documents including drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and tender requirements.
  • Prepare technical submittals, compliance sheets, method statements, and professional technical reports.
  • Ensure system compliance with Saudi regulations, client requirements, and international standards (NFPA ukuz UL, FM, etc.).
  • Provide technical solutions to resolve design issues, system gaps, and consultant comments.
  • Handle RFIs, technical clarifications, and approvals with consultants and clients.
  • Attend and lead technical and coordination meetings alongside the sales team.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to Project Management teams.
  • Support value engineering, system optimization, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the Saudi market.
  • Support tender evaluation, pricing strategy, and proposal submissions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all project and client information.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical overture.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the GCC or similar markets.
  • Proven experience in Firefighting Systems / Electromechanical / Integrated Systems.
  • Good knowledge of Saudi Codes & Standards (SBC, Civil Defense, NFPA).
  • Ability to interpret technical datasheets, drawings, and international codes.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Very good skills in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to under pressure and meet tender and project deadlines.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when required by business needs.
  • Knowledge of the KSA market and consultant/client landscape is highly preferred.
