Job summary

Mace is seeking a Senior PMO/Project Controls professional to lead programme reporting, controls, and governance for a major Saudi Arabia development in Riyadh. You will drive status collection, dashboards, and risk actions while ensuring compliance and quality in a complex, high-value environment.

The role requires proven PMO leadership, expert reporting, and strong communication to engage stakeholders and deliver timely insights.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required.
• Chartership with a recognized body in progress.
• Proven PMO and project controls leadership on complex projects.
• Leadership in health, safety & wellbeing with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

The Project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

This job is for a Saudi national willing to be based in Riyadh.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Develop and maintain tools/forms to collect programme status from stakeholders.
• Manage production, validation, and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Establish and oversee timelines for report submissions and reviews.
• Consolidate, review, and issue dashboards; elevate risks/issues as needed.
• Define dashboard requirements and ensure delivery aligns with user needs.
• Implement consistent reporting procedures and conduct quality reviews.
• Use SharePoint, PowerBI, PMIS, and data modeling to ensure traceable, reliable insights.
• Support cost, schedule, change, risk, and performance reporting processes.
• Facilitate reviews, ensure transparent reporting, and respond professionally.
• Identify process enhancements and stay updated on best practices and tools.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and shares responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have

• Relevant degree or equivalent.
• Progressing toward chartership with a recognised professional body and ongoing professional development.
• Proven PMO and project controls leadership on complex projects.
• Proven leadership in health, safety, and wellbeing, delivering measurable outcomes and embedding best practices.
• Strong knowledge and application of relevant legislation within complex organisational environments.
• Effective communicator with analytical capability and ability to engage, influence, and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
