Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Saudi Arabia Regional Headquarters (RHQ) with operational and financial accounting for Saudi-based operations and RHQ-supported regional activities, including the UAE as needed.

The role collaborates with regional Project Managers and U.S.-based accounting teams within a centralized close and statutory framework to maintain strong financial discipline and contribute to audits and compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience, incl. journal entries and reconciliations.
Experience supporting external audits.
Ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries requiring professional judgment.
Perform high-risk account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
Prepare draft local/entity financial statements and schedules for Saudi Arabia and RHQ entities.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities with timely schedules and documentation.
Support internal and external audit activities and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with Corporate and Operations Accounting and other internal functions.
