Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Architect for Rail and Metro Infrastructure in Riyadh. The role covers architectural responsibility from concept through construction coordination within a multidisciplinary infrastructure environment.

You will ensure functional, buildable, code-compliant solutions and act as a technical interface with clients, authorities, consultants, and project teams. Strong leadership and coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required.
• Minimum 15 years of post-graduate architectural experience.
• Membership or registration with an internationally recognized architectural body is preferred.
• Experience with rail or metro developments is highly desirable.
• Strong coordination with structural, civil, MEP, and transportation disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural conceptualization, design development, detailing, and technical coordination for major infrastructure assets.
• Translate project requirements into coordinated architectural solutions balancing functionality and aesthetics.
• Review drawings, specs, schedules, and design documentation for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate architectural packages with civil, structural, MEP, transportation, and other disciplines.
• Identify design conflicts and drive technical resolution before construction.
• Prepare technical reports, design narratives, and presentations for clients and authorities.
• Maintain compliance with building codes, standards, and NOCs as required.
• Mentor team members through design reviews and knowledge sharing.
