Job summary

Ceer is seeking a hands-on PTS Machining Centre Senior Specialist to lead joining and fabrication for prototype vehicle builds. You will interpret drawings and CAD data, oversee jig and fixture manufacture, and provide technical direction on materials and processes to meet engineering specs.

The role requires extensive welding expertise, familiarity with CNC laser cutting, and hands-on assembly of components, with a focus on quality and safety during prototype phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Technical Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a workshop technician role.
• Experience with prototype vehicle builds is preferred.
• Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute joining and fabrication tasks for prototype vehicle build, including parts, jigs, and fixtures.
• Interpret engineering drawings and CAD data to ensure compliance with specs.
• Provide technical direction on processes, techniques, and materials for low-volume parts.
• Support BIW and components reworks during prototype build events and test phases.
• Collaborate across departments to give manufacturing feasibility feedback.
