Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for an onshore mega EPC PMC project based in Abu Dhabi. The role will oversee day-to-day engineering activities and coordinate multi-discipline execution with Contractors, Vendors, and Company departments.

The ideal candidate has 12–15+ years of Oil & Gas project experience, a strong site execution background, and prior ADNOC/PMC exposure. You will lead site activities through construction, commissioning, and handover phases.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of Oil & Gas project experience, including EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong construction and site execution background.
• Previous ADNOC / PMC project experience is highly desirable.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary activities (Mechanical, Piping, Civil, E&I, Construction, Commissioning, HSE, QA/QC).

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor site execution activities within the assigned project scope.
• Ensure effective multidiscipline alignment among the Contractor, Subcontractors, Operations, Engineering, Commissioning, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress against the approved/revised schedule.
• Support construction completion, system handover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization readiness.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality requirements, project specifications, approved procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Lead and participate in site meetings, technical discussions, progress reviews, coordination meetings, and site walkdowns.
• Maintain clear tracking and close-out of priorities, constraints, action items, interfaces, and project deliverables.
• Provide concise progress reporting and promptly escape critical risks, constraints, and issues to Project Management.
• Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for assigned site activities, ensuring effective coordination between all disciplines and stakeholders.

KBR is looking for Senior Project Engineer with Onshore project experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.

Education / Degree

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or another relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university.

Experience

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day engineering activities and SPIR/spare-parts coordination between the Contractor, Vendors, and relevant Company departments
• Preferably 12-15+ years of Oil & Gas project experience, including EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong construction and site execution background.
• Previous ADNOC / PMC project experience is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in coordinating and monitoring multidisciplinary activities, including Mechanical, Piping, Civil, E&I, Construction, Commissioning, HSE, and QA/QC.
• Experience working through the construction, completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover phases of major Oil & Gas projects.
