Job summary

Confidential Company in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Senior Pipeline Pre-Commissioning Engineer to develop and execute the pre-commissioning plan, aligning with project specs, safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning and operations teams to integrate activities into the project timeline, review procedures, ensure materials readiness, and supervise cleaning, testing, drying and purging to guarantee pipeline readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Fifteen+ years of experience in pipeline pre-commissioning, commissioning, or operations.
• Strong understanding of pipeline integrity testing, pigging operations, hydrotesting, drying, and nitrogen purging.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and risk management in pipeline projects.
• Ability to manage teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the pre-commissioning execution plan ensuring alignment with project specifications safety and quality standards
• Coordinate with engineering construction commissioning and operations teams to integrate pre-commissioning activities into the overall project timeline
• Review and approve pre-commissioning procedures including hydrotesting pigging drying flushing and leak testing
• Ensure all materials equipment and resources required for pre-commissioning are available and meet project requirements
• Supervise pipeline cleaning gauging and hydrotesting to verify pipeline integrity
• Oversee dewatering drying and nitrogen purging to prepare the pipeline for commissioning
• Ensure all instrumentation valves and control systems are tested and validated
• Manage the chemical cleaning and flushing of pipelines where required
