Job summary

Lucid is seeking a Sr Automation Engineer for Powertrain to own PLC architecture, SCADA, historian, MES-OT integration, OT cybersecurity, and Industry 4.0 deployment across AMP-2 Powertrain equipment. This greenfield facility will scale from first commissioning through volume ramp to SOP by June 2027, ensuring standards, uptime, and data integration for a Factory-4.0-ready plant.

Qualifications

Experience in defining and enforcing PLC architecture and safety PLC deployment.
Strong SCADA and historian experience and MES integration.
OT cybersecurity and industrial networks experience.
Ability to architect and solve complex automation problems and document standards.

Responsibilities

Define and enforce PLC architecture and coding standards across Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Studio 5000.
Own safety PLC deployment and functional safety compliance.
Lead FAT/SAT for all automated Powertrain equipment SCADA, Historian & MES integration.
Own SCADA architecture and historian deployment for performance data.
Oversee MES integration for production tracking and quality traceability.
Coordinate with IT/OT security on vulnerability management and incident response.
