Job summary

Applus+ Asia Middle East and Africa is seeking a seasoned Materials Engineer to ensure materials used on site meet project specifications. You will review submittals, coordinate testing, and monitor QA/QC compliance across infrastructure projects.

The role requires a BSc in Civil/Geotechnical engineering with 7–10 years of infrastructure experience, including asphalt and concrete mix design. On-site execution and collaboration with labs are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BSc Civil or Geotechnical/Geological Engineering required.
• 7-10 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Experience with asphalt and concrete mix designs.
• QA/QC experience in materials for infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ASTM/AASHTO testing standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve all material submittals to ensure compliance with project specs.
• Monitor batching, production, and placement to align with approved mix designs.
• Oversee material testing programs including field and lab testing.
• Coordinate with contractors and laboratories to resolve material issues.
• Evaluate and approve concrete and asphalt mix designs for project requirements and enviro conditions.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance for all materials used across the project.
