Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in machinery procurement engineering or outfitting for marine projects.
• Experience reviewing technical specifications, equipment datasheets, and supplier documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for machinery outfitting procurement in marine, shipbuilding, and offshore vessel projects.
• Review specifications, equipment lists, and procurement requirements to identify suitable equipment and suppliers.
• Prepare and review technical requisitions, equipment specifications, datasheets, and procurement documents.
• Review vendor quotations, technical proposals, and compliance statements to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Perform TBEs and prepare technical comparison sheets for machinery and equipment procurement.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, manufacturers, and suppliers to resolve queries.
• Verify machinery dimensions, weights, power requirements, and interfaces against project requirements.
• Ensure compatibility with vessel layouts and other outfitting disciplines.
• Support preparation of requisitions and technical documentation for procurement packages.
• Monitor vendor document submissions and coordinate technical reviews for timely approvals.
