  • Develop and execute digital medical communication plans that enhance the reach and relevance of medical education across digital channels, while maintaining scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Partner with Digital Opinion Leaders to translate complex medical and scientific topics into accessible, responsible and non-promotional educational content for the public, including videos, webinars, podcasts, articles and disease awareness materials.
  • Capture insights from Digital Opinion Leaders, Key Opinion Leaders and digital healthcare conversations to inform Medical Affairs planning, identify unmet educational needs and support scientific communication strategy.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners, professional associations, agencies and internal stakeholders across Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Communications and Marketing.
  • Establish clear ways of working for Digital Opinion Leader identification, engagement, content review, approvals and governance — supporting a scalable operating model for the future function.

Who you'll work with

You will report directly to the Affiliate Medical Director and work as part of the Medical Affairs team in Riyadh. This is a newly established role, and you will have a high degree of independence in shaping how the function operates and grows.

Internally, your closest partners will include colleagues across Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Compliance, Marketing and Commercial, Communications and patient support programme teams. Externally, you will build relationships with Digital Opinion Leaders, Key Opinion Leaders, physicians, healthcare professional associations, medical education partners and digital content agencies.

The role sits at the centre of medical affairs and digital engagement — bringing different perspectives together to ensure that what reaches the public and healthcare professionals is credible, compliant and impactful.

What you can expect here

You will work in an environment where your scientific expertise and digital capability are valued and where you are trusted to take ownership of a function from the ground up. The role offers the opportunity to shape something new — building ways of working, stakeholder relationships and an operating model that can scale.

You will be supported to grow through practical experience, cross-functional collaboration and exposure to the evolving digital healthcare landscape. You will be encouraged to contribute your perspective, challenge convention where it helps, and bring curiosity to how medical information is shared and consumed.
