Job Purpose

The gelten Senior Manager – Commercial oversees project cost management, coordinates contracts, and ensures compliance with corporate policies. This role involves是真是假 expenditures, managing contractual relationships with vendors and contractors, and supporting commercial tender reviews to maintain project financial integrity and efficiency.

Managerial Accountabilities
Stakeholders’ Relations
  • Act as SEVEN’s representative with local and international ventures and enterprises to establish and maintain good working relationships with the key stakeholders within and outside the SEVEN.
Budget
  • Comply with the budget approved in his unit to ensure appropriate utilization for the SEVEN’s financial resources.
  • Supervise Commercial, Planning and Project Controls budget utilization during the year across all related functions to ensure that the spending ’s are in alignment with the submitted and approved budget.
Governance and Resilience
  • Monitor the operational activities within his function to ensure its permit compliance with the function’s policies and procedures.
  • Lead Commercial, Planning and Project Controls day‑to‑day operations to ensure compliance with the approved policies & procedures.
People Management
  • Provides his subordinates with ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure their continuous improvement.
  • Conduct the annual appraisal evaluation in compliance with the HR policies and procedures to ensure appropriate and fair evaluation for his subordinates’ performance.
Functional Accountabilities:
Project Cost Management
  • Control project costs by monitoring and validating project expenditures.
  • Advise the Commercial Planning and Project Controls Director on cost‑related matters as needed. '='>
Contract Coordination and Management
  • Manage and coordinate all contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Ensure that contractual agreements are in line with project goals and corporate guidelines.
Invoice Verification and Claims Management
  • Review and validate quantities delivered by general contractors.
  • Verify invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy in project cost recording.
Compliance with Corporate Policies
  • Manage the compliance process related to corporate contracting policies, procedures, processes, and documentation.
  • Ensure all commercial activities adhere to corporate standards and legal requirements.
  • Commercial Reviews of Tenders
  • Assist with commercial reviews of tenders to support procurement and contracting decisions.
  • Provide analytical support during the tender evaluation process to ensure alignment with commercial and strategic aims.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent as a minimum.

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent is preferred.

Professional certificate in Finance or Accounting certification (i.e. E.g. CPA, SOCPA, CFA, CFP) is preferred.
