Job summary

Qiddiya | القدية seeks an experienced legal leader to manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution across multiple business functions in Riyadh. You will develop strategies, advise on complex disputes, and oversee external counsel to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

You will review potential risks, prepare legal submissions, and represent the Legal function in negotiations, mediations, and settlements while supporting business units on regulatory inquiries and dispute prevention

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law, Master's degree and/or professional legal qualification is preferred.
• 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience with a focus on litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
• Experience managing complex disputes in leading law firms or corporate legal departments.
• Experience coordinating external counsel and multi-stakeholder legal matters.
• Knowledge of Saudi legal and judicial frameworks and dispute resolution processes is preferred.

Develop legal strategies and provide advice on complex disputes, claims, and investigations.

Oversee external counsel and legal service providers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational objectives.

Review and assess potential legal risks, claims, and disputes, providing recommendations on mitigation and resolution strategies.

Lead the preparation of legal submissions, case documentation, witness statements, and supporting evidence.

Represent the Legal function in discussions, negotiations, mediations, and settlement processes.

Provide legal support to business units on contentious matters, regulatory inquiries, and dispute prevention initiatives.

Monitor litigation trends, legal developments, and emerging risks that may impact the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in law, Master's degree and/or professional legal qualification is preferred.
• 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience, with a strong focus on litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution
• Experience managing complex disputes within a leading law firm, corporate legal department, or a combination of both
• Experience managing external counsel and coordinating multi-stakeholder legal matters
