Job summary

SALAMA Cooperative Insurance Co. in Jeddah seeks an Internal Audit Senior Officer to join our Internal Audit team at the Head Office. You will execute risk-based internal audit procedures, evaluate internal controls, and identify gaps that require action.

You will prepare working papers, findings, and reports; support risk assessments and annual audit plans; and follow up on management actions. Fluency in Arabic and English and a professional certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and relevant professional certification.
• Solid knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
• Strong analytical, writing and presentation abilities.
• Experience in insurance industry is advantageous.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based internal audit procedures and evaluate internal controls.
• Identify control gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings, recommendations, and reports.
• Support risk assessments and the development of annual audit plans.
• Follow up on audit observations and management actions.
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual internal audit reports.
