Job summary

Fluor is seeking a seasoned Control and Instrumentation Engineer for Saudi Aramco/SABIC projects. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, size and specify field instruments, and develop SPI deliverables while ensuring compliance with codes and project schedules.

The role requires extensive EPC experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in SmartPlant Instrumentation, with a focus on cost-effective project solutions.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum ten years of EPC experience in Control and Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience selecting, sizing, and preparing data sheets for field instruments.
• Experience preparing and managing SmartPlant Instrumentation deliverables.
• Experience preparing RFQs and reviewing vendor proposals.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco and SABIC projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply cost competitive execution techniques to develop the most cost effective project solutions.
• Develop, review, and maintain engineering specifications and design criteria.
• Participate in equipment procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
• Assign work to engineering teams and monitor progress to achieve project objectives.
• Perform and verify engineering calculations and technical evaluations.
• Prepare instrument data sheets and specifications for field instruments.
• Develop and maintain SmartPlant Instrumentation deliverables.
• Prepare RFQs and conduct technical reviews of vendor proposals.
• Support Control and Instrumentation design activities for EPC projects.
