Job summary

Jurong International is seeking an experienced Senior High Voltage Engineer for upcoming energy and infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of high-voltage power systems across transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and major infra projects.

Responsibilities include leading HV/EHV substation design, protection design, stakeholder coordination, and mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in high-voltage power engineering.
• Strong experience in AIS/GIS substations and protection design.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, utility standards, and grid code requirements.
• Experience with transmission, distribution, renewable energy, or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous Middle East or Saudi Arabia project experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of HV and EHV substations including AIS and GIS systems.
• Prepare and review substation layouts, single-line diagrams, protection schemes and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, utilities, contractors and stakeholders.
• Undertake protection studies, equipment selection and design reviews.
• Support procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and technical assurance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and designers.
