Job summary

EJADA in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior HotScan Technical Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, upgrades, and customization of HotScan sanctions screening within banking environments. The role requires designing screening workflows, watchlists, and advanced matching, and integrating with Core Banking, CIF, SWIFT, and payment systems.

You will drive performance tuning, reporting, and compliance activities across SIT/UAT/production, while supporting regulatory requirements and fraud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Oracle Database certifications or equivalent.
• Oracle SQL or PL/SQL certifications.
• Additional AML/Financial Crime/ Sanctions Screening certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HotScan implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
• Configure and administer HotScan environments across Development, UAT, DR, and Production.
• Conduct workshops to translate compliance requirements into technical solutions.
• Configure sanctions screening modules for customer, transaction, payment, and trade finance screening.
• Design and implement screening workflows, matching algorithms, and watchlists.
• Develop and maintain HotScan customizations and screening logic.
• Configure advanced matching, scoring, and false-positive reduction strategies.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and compliance metrics.
• Lead HotScan upgrade and migration activities, including testing and production rollout.
• Design and develop integrations between HotScan and Core Banking, CIF, Payment Systems, SWIFT, AML platforms, and Case Management solutions.
• Support API development, web services integration, batch interfaces, and data mapping.
• Perform system tuning, optimization, and performance improvements.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, performance testing, deployment activities, and post-go-live stabilization.

The Senior HotScan Technical Consultant is responsible for leading the implementation, configuration, customization, integration, upgrade, and support of HotScan Sanctions Screening solutions within banking and financial services environments. The role ensures the delivery of effective sanctions screening, customer screening, payment screening, and financial crime compliance capabilities while supporting regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and fraud prevention objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead end-to-end HotScan implementation, upgrade, enhancement, and support projects.
• Configure and administer HotScan environments across Development, UAT, DR, and Production environments.
• Conduct business and technical workshops to gather requirements and translate compliance requirements into technical solutions.
• Configure sanctions screening modules for customer screening, transaction screening, payment screening, and trade finance screening processes.
• Design and implement screening workflows, matching algorithms, filtering rules, watchlists, and case management processes.
• Develop and maintain HotScan customizations, enhancements, and business-specific screening logic.
• Configure advanced matching, scoring, and false-positive reduction strategies to improve screening effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, operational metrics, and compliance reporting capabilities.
• Lead HotScan upgrade and migration activities, including version assessments, compatibility reviews, configuration migration, testing, and production rollout.
• Design and develop integrations between HotScan and enterprise banking systems including Core Banking, CIF, Payment Systems, SWIFT, AML platforms, and Case Management solutions.
• Support API development, web services integration, batch interfaces, data mapping, and transformation activities.
• Perform system tuning, optimization, and performance improvements to ensure platform stability and screening efficiency.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, performance testing, deployment activities, and post-go-live stabilization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related.
• Oracle Database certifications.
• Oracle SQL or PL/SQL certifications.
• Additional certifications in AML, Financial Crime Compliance, or Sanctions Screening.
• +6 years of IT experience.
• Hands-on HotScan implementation, configuration, customization, and support experience.
• Proven experience delivering HotScan implementation and upgrade projects.
• Experience working on AML, sanctions screening, and financial crime compliance platforms.
