Sanam is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and scale backend services using Golang. This hands-on role focuses on reliable production systems, architecture improvements, and high-quality API development.

You will collaborate with product and DevOps to deliver production-ready features in a remote setup. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong knowledge of microservices, databases, and cloud platforms, and excellent communication to work effectively in

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building production systems with Golang.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with scalable APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Proficiency in concurrency, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with automated testing, Git, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Excellent communication and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, build, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
• Architecture & Scalability: Contribute to architectural decisions and improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• API Development: Build and maintain secure APIs, microservices, and third‑party integrations.
• Engineering Excellence: Write clean, maintainable code and uphold testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Production Ownership: Troubleshoot production issues and improve monitoring, logging, and security.
• Database Performance: Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data-access patterns.
• Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, and DevOps to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Team Contribution: Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative remote culture.
