Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in façade engineering, with leadership in large projects.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of façade design standards and local/regional codes.
• Experience with structural analysis software and advanced engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for façade engineering activities and ensure standards compliance.
• Lead development of innovative façade solutions balancing aesthetics, energy efficiency, and durability.
• Oversee design, review, and approval of drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Manage the façade engineering team, assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives for seamless integration.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources; monitor progress and risks.
• Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular quality audits.
• Build strong client relationships and represent Parsons at meetings and presentations.

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Facade Specialist . This key role requires in-depth expertise in complex façade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in leading large-scale façade projects and delivering innovative, sustainable, and technically robust solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for all façade engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Lead the development of innovative façade solutions, considering factors such as aesthetics, energy efficiency, and durability.
• Oversee the design, review, and approval of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Manage the façade engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of façade systems.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the façade engineering team.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in façade engineering, with landscape works support a high-quality public realm.
• Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of façade design standards, codes, and regulations, including AISC, AISI, and local codes.
• Experience with structural analysis software and other advanced engineering tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
