Job summary

Ernst & Young AE in Jeddah is seeking an experienced audit professional to participate in external audit engagements, collaborating with the team and updating senior colleagues on progress.

You will help prepare client meetings, reports, and schedules, while building strong relationships with client personnel and contributing to EY's people initiatives and risk-aware practices.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record, including a degree.
• At least four years of professional experience in external audit.
• ACCA, CPA, CA qualification or similar preferred.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements as a team member and provide support and communication to senior staff.
• Assist in preparing for meetings with target management teams and participate in these meetings.
• Help prepare reports and schedules delivered to clients and other parties.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY.
• Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals and ensure quality work reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Job description

As a member of the Audit team you will participate in audit engagements working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility providing support maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress. You will also help prepare for meetings with target management teams and participate in these meetings assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel. Actively establishing internal and external relationships and identifying and escalating potential business opportunities for EY will be essential as well contributing to people initiatives including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks you ll escape issues as appropriate. You ll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.
